A Message from the Principal, Dr. Alixe Callen
Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year. 
Since taking over as principal in July 2008, I have come to love and respect so many things about this school – our hard-working students, our dedicated staff, our caring parents, and our generous community.
Much of our collective effort since I came on board has been spent examining our values, practices and beliefs in order to revise our mission statement. I am delighted to report that as a result of that work, we have a new mission statement, which we feel captures the values and intents of our school community:
Together we promote respect for self, others, and learning.
I feel lucky to be part of a school community that is dedicated to such a lofty ideal. Watching the way that students, teachers and administrators work together here is inspiring.
We are looking forward to another wonderful year!
