Attendance
Students should attend all Physical Education classes. If a student skips a class, he or she receives
no credit for that class and cannot make up the class missed.
Students who have an excused absence from school or class
such as being home sick, field trips and college visits can
make up the missed Physical Education class within ten
school days.
In certain cases, Physical Education classes do not need to be
made up. The following are examples:
» Absences due to a doctor's excuse for an injury or illness
that extends more than one week.
» Required testing (MCAS, Evaluation, AP examinations).
» Class meetings including community service day.
