Requirements
Students are required by both state law and local policies to
pass physical education to graduate.
Freshmen must take "Fitness for Living" which combines health and
physical education.
Sophomores, juniors and seniors must
take and pass one semester of physical education per year.
Successful completion of a PE class taken through the
ABRHS Summer School prior to a given school year may
fulfill the requirements for grades 10, 11, and 12.
Excessive enrollments in Physical Education classes can
cause health and safety issues, as well as severely limit
participation. Therefore, students may not double up or
schedule two physical education classes in a given term
without permission from the administration.
Read the detailed course descriptions on the A-B Regional District site.
