Physical Education Course Description
for ABRHS Summer School


Physical Education:
– Session 1. 7:30am - 9:15am
– Session 2. 9:30am - 11:15am
– Session 3. 5:30pm - 7:15pm

This course may be taken by incoming ABRHS Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors for 1.25 credits to satisfy their PE requirement for 10th, 11th or 12th grade. Students may take this course to make up a failed semester of Physical Education or to meet the future requirements of Junior or Senior year. This course does not meet the Freshmen "Fitness for Living" requirements. PE is mandated by the State Department of Education and is an Acton-Boxborough graduation requirement.

There will be four make-up classes. To pass this course, you must attend and participate a minimum of 20 days. Attending 19 or fewer classes will result in course failure. Please note that the attendance policy for this class differs from all other Summer School classes.
