Acton-Boxborough Community Outreach (ABCO)

Acton-Boxborough Community Outreach (ABCO) is the school’s community service club. The goal of ABCO is to develop group projects in which students can participate. ABCO also raises awareness about local needs and agencies which help to meet those needs. ABCO meets once a week after school.

Other school clubs with a community service mission include:
• Interact – a service group affiliated with Rotary International
• Asha – dedicated to awareness and fundraising for literacy projects in impoverished areas of India
• Invisible Children – devoted to helping children affected by political and economic conditions in Uganda
• National Honor Society – part of the responsibility of NHS members, inducted at the end of junior year, is participation in service activities
• Student Council – coordinates discussion on school issues, school-wide social activities, fundraising and community service projects
