Acton-Boxborough Community Outreach (ABCO)
Acton-Boxborough Community Outreach (ABCO) is the schools community service club. The goal of ABCO is to develop group projects in which students can participate. ABCO also raises awareness about local needs and agencies which help to meet those needs. ABCO meets once a week after school.
Other school clubs with a community service mission include:
Interact a service group affiliated with Rotary International
Asha dedicated to awareness and fundraising for literacy projects in impoverished areas of India
Invisible Children devoted to helping children affected by political and economic conditions in Uganda
National Honor Society part of the responsibility of NHS members, inducted at the end of junior year, is participation in service activities
Student Council coordinates discussion on school issues, school-wide social activities, fundraising and community service projects
