Junior/Senior Seminar
Junior/Senior Seminar is a one-semester course or every other day for a full year course for juniors and seniors which emphasizes life skills that will be useful to young adults when they leave high school. It is appropriate for students no matter what their post-high school plans are.
One important facet of this course is extensive work on career exploration, including self-assessment, career research and job search. Students create a resume and practice interviewing skills. There is also the opportunity to participate in a three-week full-time internship at the end of the school year.
