Special Education Programs and Services
The Acton and Acton-Boxborough Regional School District offers a continuum of specialized
services from the preschool level to the age of 22. Learning Center programs, specialized
programs, and related services are provided to meet the needs of individual learners. While
descriptions of programs are provided, adjustments are made as needed to address individual
student needs. All programs emphasize skill development and skill remediation along with the
development of self-advocacy skills for greater independence and responsibility for learning.
