  • How to help:
    • Help students review vocabulary for quizzes
    • Help students to think critically about vocab. (Can they give examples/explain vocab?)
    • Reinforce organizational techniques in binder and journal
    • Chaperone opportunities/CORI forms

7 Green Extra Help
  • Encourage your child to seek extra help whenever appropriate
  • Reinforce the idea that extra help is not just for students that are having difficulty; all students can benefit from extra help at some time
  • All teachers offer extra help on a regularly scheduled basis and also by appointment
  • Extra help/ review sessions are given regularly before tests
