To those of you who are joining the R.J. Grey community for the first time and to those of you who are returning, we extend our welcome for the 2008-2009 school year. We are confident that you and your child will have a successful and safe year. To help reach this goal, a handbook has been designed to give families basic information about expectations, procedures, and policies at R.J. Grey. Teachers review rules, expectations and procedures with students during the first days of school. Students will also receive a student handbook they can refer to throughout the year whenever questions arise. We hope you will use this handbook in a similar fashion. It answers many questions you may have regarding everyday procedures at R.J. Grey. Please review your child's student handbook as well, as it contains additional policies, legal information and copies of our extracurricular and athletic agreements.
We hope that your child takes full advantage of the many special events and opportunities that occur during the year at R.J. Grey. These include assemblies, Halloween Dress Up Day, Blue and Gold Day, World Language Week, Project Wellness (7th grade), dances, and after school groups.
Please feel free to contact the school if you have any questions or concerns.
